The hospital is known for being the first and longest-certified comprehensive stroke center, the only certified burn center in north central Illinois, and the only medical center in the Rockford region performing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) surgery and Watchman implants for heart patients. Qualifications REQUIRED

Must have ability to do open and endovascular proceduresEducation: Doctorate (MD/DO)Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state. Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.

Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

2 years of experience in Vascular Surgery post-Residency/Fellowship. Interest in participating in a Vein program. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
