MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for fully remote virtual work within our integrated cardiovascular service line. This position is designed as a full-time role, though we are open to considering less than full-time arrangements for exceptional candidates. While the role is primarily remote, there is an expectation of in-person attendance once per calendar year.

MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board-certified in Cardiology. Current active and unrestricted license issued by the States of Maine and New Hampshire, or eligible for licensure.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an MD or DO in an ambulatory setting. Strong triaging skills. Demonstrated competency in providing timely, comprehensive health care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements. Demonstrated proficient use of electronic medical record. Epic preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and proficient writing skills. Strong computer skills. Is HIPAA compliant.

Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives. The annual base salary for this position is $450,000–$465,000. In addition to base pay, MaineHealth offers comprehensive benefits, recognition programs and career growth opportunities.
