Registered Nurse Opportunities Our Registered Nurses are responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. RNs collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, achieve positive patient outcomes, and support the overall mission and vision of Lee Health.
Depending on the role and department, Registered Nurses may serve as clinicians, educators, leaders, researchers, and advocates for professional development. RNs use critical thinking, clinical judgment, problem-solving, and prioritization skills to provide care that meets the individual needs of each patient. Our nursing practice is guided by professional standards, the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, the Florida Nurse Practice Act, and applicable regulatory requirements.
RN Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Nursing experience required Qualified candidates must successfully complete the required competency assessment Experience requirements may vary by department.
