Licensure
✓Licensed pharmacist, or eligible for pharmacist licensure in applicable states served by the health system.
Education
✓Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
MBA, MHA, MPH or related advanced degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible pharmacy leadership experience in a hospital, health system, academic medical center, integrated delivery network, medical group, health plan, or comparable complex healthcare organization.
✓Minimum of five years of senior or executive-level leadership experience with multi-site, system-level, or enterprise pharmacy accountability.
✓Demonstrated experience leading pharmacy strategy and operations across multiple care settings, including acute care, ambulatory, retail, specialty, infusion, and/or medication access services.
✓Proven record of improving pharmacy financial performance through drug spend management, margin improvement, revenue capture, contracting, supply chain optimization, productivity management, and business growth.
✓Demonstrated experience with 340B program oversight, compliance, audit readiness, governance, and optimization.
✓Excellent oral and written communication skills, facilitation skills, and interpersonal skills are essential.
✓Demonstrates strong analytical and creative ability to make good decisions, resolve problems, and provide direction.
✓Must be comfortable and proficient working in a matrix management structure.
✓Demonstrates critical thinking skills and the ability to reach decisions even in the face of ambiguity and uncertainty.
✓Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
✓Ability to effectively interact with executive management and boards.
✓Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
Experience developing and implementing retail pharmacy and/or specialty pharmacy growth strategies strongly preferred.
