Job Summary The Coordinator, Baptist Health Wellness Center is responsible for the daily operations of a Wellness Center location, including health coaching, biometric screenings, care coordination and navigation, program planning, community outreach, and office management. This role serves as a resource for individuals seeking health and wellness support while promoting Baptist Health services and wellness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Conduct health risk assessments and biometric screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, height/weight, and body composition measurements. Provide health coaching and connect individuals with appropriate healthcare providers, wellness programs, and community resources. Coordinate educational programs, wellness events, and community outreach activities.
Support marketing efforts through newsletters, promotional materials, and event communications. Maintain accurate documentation, data entry, and reporting related to wellness programs and client interactions. Manage day-to-day Wellness Center operations, including scheduling, inventory, and compliance activities.
Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and Wellness Center visitors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Health Administration, Public Health, Exercise Science, or a related field required. One to two years of experience in health coaching, wellness programming, health promotion, or conducting health assessments preferred.
BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire. Health Coach Certification required upon or within 90 days of hire. Strong communication, customer service, organization, and relationship-building skills.
