Education
✓Must have a minimum of Associate's degree.
✓If in possession of a Bachelors Degree in Social Services, Public Health, Health Education or Community Health Education, experience requirement may be waived.
Qualifications
✓Must have (2) years of experience in health education, community outreach programs.
✓Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish.
✓Must successfully complete and pass Parkland Health approved Qualified Bilingual Test.
✓Must be able to successfully pass the WISH Women's Health Education Curriculum course and exam during the first six months of employment.
✓Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
✓Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of training methods and techniques, including the group facilitation process.
✓Must be able to demonstrate excellent writing, communication skills, and public speaking skills.
✓Must demonstrate knowledge and skill in working with a diverse population.
✓Must be organized, detail oriented and able to work independently.
✓Must demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behaviors.
