Licensure
✓Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, or
✓Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification issued by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB), or
✓Nurse Midwife license, or
Certifications
✓Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) needs to be obtained within 2 years, or
✓Nursing certification in one or more specialty-specific areas issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or other approved national governing body.
Education
✓Master's Degree in Nursing.
Qualifications
✓Typically requires 5 years of experience in women’s health inpatient and/or ambulatory nursing with an ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in women’s health.
✓Women's Health nursing ambulatory experience is required
✓Demonstrated expertise in a clinical specialty area including clinical competence and an in-depth knowledge of clinical practice.
✓Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to teach, project management, decision making, delegation, team building, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
✓Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective communications among and with nursing and other healthcare staff.
✓Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
✓Proficient in the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar products.
