You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Medical Assistant (MA) in the state of employment.
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
Additional certifications such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN). preferred
Preferred skills such as familiarity with cardiac diagnostic tools and advanced certifications enhance the ability to support complex clinical tasks and improve patient outcomes.

Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in cardiology or a related specialty. preferred
Experience working in a cardiology or specialty medical practice. preferred
Familiarity with cardiac diagnostic equipment such as EKG machines and Holter monitors. preferred
Demonstrated ability to educate patients on cardiovascular health and disease management. preferred

What you’ll do
Perform patient intake proceduresPerform patient intake procedures including recording vital signs, medical histories, and current symptoms
Assist cardiologists during examinationsAssist cardiologists during examinations and diagnostic procedures by preparing patients and equipment
Manage patient scheduling, follow-upManage patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and coordinate referrals as needed
Document clinical information accuratelyDocument clinical information accurately in electronic health records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Provide patient education regardingProvide patient education regarding medications, lifestyle modifications, and post-procedure care instructions
