You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within time frame required by facility policy.
Wound care certification preferred or willingness to obtain per facility policy.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN).
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated clinical expertise in wound and skin care.
✓Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
✓Knowledge of evidence-based practices in wound healing.
✓Ability to educate and mentor staff on wound care protocols.
✓Proficient in EMR systems and documentation.
✓Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing physical tasks required in patient care.
✓Populations Served: Adolescents (12-17 years), Adults (18-64 years), Geriatrics (65+ years)
✓Protected Health Information: Access to complete medical records including clinical and demographic data.
✓Minimum of two years of nursing experience in acute care, skilled nursing, outpatient, or home health settings.
Experience in wound care preferred.
