Assess and manage complex wounds, including surgical wounds, pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, burns, and other skin conditionsDevelop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including advanced therapies and dressing recommendationsProvide preoperative and postoperative ostomy education and supportEvaluate and manage ostomy-related concerns, including leakage, peristomal skin complications, and stoma managementEducate patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on wound prevention, treatment, and ongoing careServe as a clinical resource to nursing and interdisciplinary teamsCoordinate staff scheduling and patient assignments for Wound & Ostomy ServicesCollaborate across departments to support efficient wound and ostomy supply managementSupport quality improvement initiatives, productivity goals, and clinical best practicesPromote evidence-based care that enhances patient outcomes and operational efficiency What We're Looking ForAssociate Degree in Nursing requiredBSN preferredCurrent RN license in the applicable state requiredTwo years of clinical nursing experience preferredWound Care Certification requiredOstomy Certification requiredStrong assessment, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skillsPassion for patient education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice Why Choose Novant Health?
