Assess and manage complex wounds, including surgical wounds, pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, burns, and other skin conditions Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including advanced therapies and dressing recommendations Provide preoperative and postoperative ostomy education and support Evaluate and manage ostomy-related concerns, including leakage, peristomal skin complications, and stoma management Educate patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on wound prevention, treatment, and ongoing care Serve as a clinical resource to nursing and interdisciplinary teams Coordinate staff scheduling and patient assignments for Wound & Ostomy Services Collaborate across departments to support efficient wound and ostomy supply management Support quality improvement initiatives, productivity goals, and clinical best practices Promote evidence-based care that enhances patient outcomes and operational efficiency What We're Looking For Associate Degree in Nursing required BSN preferred Current RN license in the applicable state required Two years of clinical nursing experience preferred Wound Care Certification required Ostomy Certification required Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Passion for patient education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice Why Choose Novant Health?
