✓Within 1 year of hire must have successfully passed RCIS exam given by CCI or Radiologic Technologist License
Licensed special procedures Radiologic Technologist. preferred
Certifications
✓AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 months of employment.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or radiologic technologist program or graduate of an applied science program.
Associates or Bachelors Degree in health science field. preferred
Qualifications
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✓Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platform.
Prior experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, invasive procedure area or special procedures radiology preferred
Hemodynamic monitoring and sterile operative techniques. preferred

About the role

The Cardiovascular Technologist will assist physicians with all invasive cardiac, peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement. In addition the Cardiovascular Technologist will assist with circulatory support devices as indicated ( ie IABP and Impella).
