✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days, and
✓Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or
✓Certification Addendum
✓Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF or others).
Education
✓High School Graduate.
Qualifications
✓Interest in hospice and end-of-life care, with a desire to make a meaningful difference during life's most important moments.
✓Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
✓Team player who collaborates respectfully with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care with kindness, empathy, respect, and dignity.
✓Demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all aspects of care delivery.
✓Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic care environment while maintaining a positive attitude and focus on quality care.
