- 5 nurse-to-patient ratio, this high-acuity unit specializes in complex pulmonary and medical patients, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, BiPAP support, ventilator weaning, DKA management, chest tube care, and titration of cardiac drips. The unit emphasizes teamwork, education, and a strong supportive culture open to RNs at all experience levels.
