Anesthesia (CRNA)

Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Shifts: 2 weeks on (Monday-Friday 0700-1500), 1 week off - Rotating on call and weekend shifts EMR: Cerner Description: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will administer anesthesia, monitor patient's vital signs, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia. The Nurse Anesthetist may assist surgeons or other physicians.

/Abilities: Ability to perform or manage regional anesthetic techniques such as local, spinal, epidural, caudal, nerve blocks and intravenous blocks. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Advanced understanding of anesthesia and other critical nursing skills.

Demonstrated patient care skills. Ability to practice independently Can show competence within Anesthesia Clinical Privileges Education and

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program. Currently has a CRNA license in Montana (or obtains prior to the start date). 1 year of CRNA experience required. Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) credential.
