Contract details
- Full-time and permanent CRNA position
- Monday-Friday schedule with no call requirements
- Work independently with the support of an on-site anesthesiologist if needed
- Administer and manage anesthesia for various types of surgeries and medical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories and determining appropriate anesthesia plans
- Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall well-being during surgery
- Respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies related to anesthesia
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients
- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery
- Meditech EMR
- 3 OR suites, endoscopy suite and OB unit, surgical specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OB/GYN and children over 2 years of age
- Must be proficient in endoscopies and labor epidurals
- Requires a minimum of two years of practice experience
- Requires current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Licensed to practice as a CRNA in the state of Maine
- Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations calmly and efficiently
