Cardiac Cath Lab position on the day shift. The role supports adult and geriatric interventional cardiac procedures, with primary responsibility for independently scrubbing cath lab cases rather than monitoring or circulating duties. Recent interventional scrub experience with complex cardiac procedures is required.
Job Details Required
Recent, strong independent cath lab scrub experience; Registered Nurse (RN) or Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credentials; at least 612 months of recent scrub experience; Registered Radiologist Assistant (ARRT-R) and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); experience with adult and geriatric patients; required charting system experience.
Community hospital experience.
Day shift, 410-hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00, rotating MondayFriday as needed, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage is required, including up to 13 weekday call shifts from 17:00 to 06:00 and three weekend call periods during the assignment. Additional Information: The role supports two cardiac catheterization laboratories and one hybrid operating room.
Procedures include left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions, intra-aortic balloon pump procedures, Rotablator atherectomy, Shockwave procedures, patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect closures, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures. Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, structural heart procedures, vascular closure systems, temporary pacemakers, Impella insertion, and equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Philips systems, GE Mac-Lab, intravascular ultrasound, and fractional flow reserve is relevant.
