Join Our Dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab Team!

  • Location: 6700 IH 10 West, San Antonio, TX 78201
  • Unit Overview:
  • Number of Beds: 4 (2 Cath Labs & 2 EP Labs)
  • Staffing:
  • 9 Cath Lab staff
  • 8 EP Lab staff
  • Team Structure:
  • Day

1 Nurse manager, Cath Lab teams of 3-4, EP Lab teams of 3 - Night

Cath Lab call team starts at 1530

  • Day shifts primarily from 0700-1530, M-F
  • Flexible staffing according to patient schedules
  • Call
  • Must be within 30 minutes from the facility
  • On call M-F: approximately 1-2 nights/week, from 1530-0700
  • On call 1 weekend/month: 24 hours on Saturday & Sunday
  • Equipment Used:
  • Siemens X-Ray equipment
  • GE Mac Lab recording
  • Meditech EMR
  • Desired Skills &
  • Must Have:
  • 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Complex PCI experience (Impella & IABP placement/management)
  • Recording experience with GE Mac Lab EMR
  • Preferred/Nice to Have:
  • EP Lab experience (EP device placement, EP ablations, EP studies)
  • Peripheral vascular intervention experience
  • Flexibility with scheduling
  • Willingness to take extra call
  • Typical Procedures:
  • Right/Left heart caths
  • PCI and Complex PCI
  • Diagnostic/Interventional peripherals
  • EKOS, PFO occluders, Nitric Oxide studies
