Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 25, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 4 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (Cardiac PCU) position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient PCU experience and a KY or compact RN license. Details Work in a 48-bed Cardiac PCU within a hospital setting Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 Patient population includes cardiac diagnoses such as PCI and pacemakers Common medications administered include Cardizem, amiodarone, and heparin

include IV therapy, PCA, feeding tubes, wound vac, CBI, trach care, and central line care RN must read telemetry and titrate medications accordingly Uses Epic EMR Day shift schedule from 06:45-19:15, three 12-hour shifts per week Every other weekend required per unit need ANM support provided on the unit Requirements Active RN license (KY or Compact) required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required Additional Information Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as a mentor/preceptor Participates in a Practice Governance model emphasizing evidence-based practice and teamwork Facilitates patient and family education related to care, treatment, and discharge planning Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and family needs
