Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for an Echo Tech, Radiology in Camden, New Jersey. Location Camden, NJ Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
The Echo Tech will perform cardiac ultrasound tests, including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms, in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography and ICAEL standards. The position requires demonstrated knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and the use of digital ultrasound equipment, with the ability to prepare patients and explain procedures clearly. Familiarity with electronic medical records is essential.
Responsibilities Conduct cardiac ultrasound tests in adherence to established protocols and standards. Ensure timely completion of scheduled tests for specific patient populations. Educate patients about procedures and manage their preparation for examinations.
Maintain knowledge of and proficiency in using digital ultrasound equipment. Navigating and documenting in the electronic medical record system effectively. Required Experience Experience in performing echocardiograms for both pediatric and adult patients.
Familiarity with cardiac ultrasound procedures and standards. Certifications/Licensure Current BLS certification. Registered through ARDMS or CCM certification is required.
