$2,090–$2,200 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Assignment Dates: October 11, 2026 through January 10, 2027 Healthcare Setting: Acute-care cardiac stepdown, telemetry, and medical-surgical unit Nursing

12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; approximately 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend and Holiday

As scheduled Unit Information: 34-bed unit providing stepdown and floor-level care Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:3 for stepdown patients and 1:5–6 for floor patients Electronic Medical Record: Epic Dress Code: Royal blue Cardiac Stepdown Travel Nurse Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, with West Virginia licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure before the assignment begins At least 1 year of recent professional nursing experience Recent cardiac stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or acute medical-surgical nursing experience preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiac rhythms Experience caring for patients who require close monitoring and titratable intravenous medications Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Adaptability to support other units when floating is needed Travel RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac stepdown, telemetry, and medical-surgical patients Complete ongoing nursing assessments, identify changes in patient condition, and promptly escalate concerns Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond appropriately to rhythm changes Safely administer medications and manage titratable intravenous drips according to orders and clinical protocols Collaborate with providers, respiratory therapists, nursing assistants, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, recovery, and discharge needs Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Epic Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and continuity of care throughout each shift Apply now for this cardiac stepdown travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.
