Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist (Cath Lab Rad Tech / RCIS) – Day Shift
Day Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 06:30 – 17:00 | 40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract Assignment. Location Region: Denville, New Jersey (NJ) | Travel Candidates Accepted Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE] Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1–2+ years of dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist clinical experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
On-Call Response Time Threshold [HARDSTOP]: Candidate MUST be able to consistently maintain a 30-minute call response time from page to arrival at facility [HARDSTOP]. Mechanical Circulatory Support Competencies [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical scrubbing/assisting proficiency with Impella ventricular assist devices and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP) strictly required [HARDSTOP]. Interventional Radiology (IR) Scrub Competencies [HARDSTOP]: Hands-on proficiency scrubbing IR procedures including Percutaneous Nephrostomy Tube insertion, PICC line placement, Permacath insertion, Permanent Pacemaker insertion, and Cerebral Thrombectomy [HARDSTOP].
Equipment & Radiation Safety Competencies [HARDSTOP]: Direct proficiency operating single/dual-plane C-Arm fluoroscopy equipment, routine lead maintenance, and active Fluoroscopy Certification [HARDSTOP]. Primary Professional Credentials [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active ARRT (R) registration with active Fluoroscopy Certification strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP]. RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential highly preferred ( RT scope must encompass RCIS skill set ).
State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License (NJ ARRT) strictly required at submission ( high priority given to active NJ licenses ) [HARDSTOP]. Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications [HARDSTOP].
