Days Job Type: Full Time The Electrophysiology Tech performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP), including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns c.d.’s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medicationsReports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information. Adheres to Corporate, Regional, Hospital and Departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
Minimum: Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent orGraduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI/CVT) orGraduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program
One- year experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, EP Laboratory preferred. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:Radiologic TechnologistRadiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)Florida License CRTRCIS within 12 months of hire required. AHA ACLS CertificationAHA BLS CertificationGraduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program AHA BLS CertificationAHA ACLS CertificationRegistry or Certification of Cardiovascular Technologist, RCES or RCIS within 12 months of hire.
