Travel Cath Lab Tech Pikeville Medical Center | Pikeville, KY Assignment Details Start date: ASAP
Days, 12 hours (7:00a–7:00p) Guaranteed hours: 48/week Contract length: 13 weeks Call: 7–8 days per 6-week period Weekends: 1–2 every 6 weeks Holidays: As needed Float: To be determined Requirements 2+ years of cath lab experience BLS and ACLS through the AHA ARRT with a Kentucky rad tech license EKG certification Epic experience Associate degree or certificate (bachelor’s preferred) Permanent address 75+ miles from the facility COVID vaccine required.
With an approved medical or religious exemption, weekly PCR testing is required. The Role You’ll assist with catheter insertion, measure and administer special fluids, make sure the EKG equipment is working before procedures, and monitor EKG readouts during cases, letting the physician know about anything abnormal.
