CVOR First Assist – Open Heart & Vascular Surgery Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks Facility Type: Community Hospital and Regional Referral Center Facility Size: 171 beds Trauma Level: Level II/III (to be confirmed) EHR: Medhost Position Overview Seeking an experienced CVOR First Assist professional to support open-heart and vascular surgical procedures. Candidates must have hands-on experience with open-heart surgery and vein harvesting.
Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of CVOR open-heart and vascular surgery experience. Experience with vein harvesting is required. First Assist qualification required, or eligibility under the facility's grandfathering clause.
Ability to work effectively with the cardiovascular surgical team. Must be comfortable assisting with open-heart and vascular procedures. Schedule and Call Requirements Day
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. 40 guaranteed hours per week. Weekday call required, approximately three days per week. Weekend call is rare; may include Friday night through Saturday at 9:00 AM.
No floating required. Weekly orientation. Facility Highlights 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center.
Joint Commission accredited. Certified Chest Pain Center. Scrubs provided by the facility.
Travel Requirements Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel position.
