Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) Work
Prepare the Operating Room: Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies before surgery. Maintain Sterile Technique: Perform surgical scrub, gown and glove procedures, and maintain a sterile field to prevent infection. Assist During Surgery: Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon, anticipate surgical needs, and assist with retractors as directed.
Postoperative Duties: Count instruments, sponges, and needles; handle specimens; assist with dressings, clean instruments, and prepare the OR for the next procedure License: NBSTSA
