Clinic (RN)

The schedule is primarily Monday-Friday , with hours varying between 8:00 AM-6:00 PM . There may also be occasional Wednesday evening hours (5:30 PM-8:00 PM) and Saturday hours (8:00 AM-12:00 PM) . Ideally, candidates will have experience in clinic, family practice, primary care, or pediatrics .

Under the direction of the Physician and/or Director of Operations, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing services to patients in a clinical setting. The RN uses the nursing process to provide ongoing care within the RN scope of practice recognizing and responding to patient change in status as well as prioritizing patient needs based on acuity. Responsibilities include but are not limited to telephone triage and consultation for the patient, family, and/or visitor of the patient as appropriate by the patient in accordance with HIPAA laws.

Provides basic to complex patient education as directed by the physician and or resident team. Prepares the exam room and rooms the patient collecting pertinent vital signs and health information as needed for the visit. Administers medications, performs laboratory procedures as ordered, as well as assists physicians with basic to complex procedures.

The RN will maintain positive professional relationships with our patients, within Mosaic Family Health, and across the care continuum. The RN will demonstrate the ability to make critical independent decisions. He/She/They will possess excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

He/She/They will demonstrate leadership skills that include the ability to delegate. He/She/They will uphold the highest levels of integrity building trust both within our community and with Mosaic Family Health's team. The RN will have responsibilities in the development of unlicensed staff and participate in education to the Family Medicine Residency Program physicians as well as other trainees.

The RN will participate in the onboarding, competency, training, and educational opportunities at Mosaic Family Health. He/She/They may provide work direction to other staff to assist in optimal flow of patient care and services. Hours: Monday through Friday clinic hours vary between 8 am and 6 pm Generally, a 1:4 Saturday rotation from 8am - 12pm Physical

Ability of exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, 20-40 lbs frequently or a negligible amount constantly. Physical Activity: Involves standing, sitting, walking (or transporting), stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, carrying, lifting, pushing, fingering, grasping, feeling, rapid working speed, talking hearing-conversation level, seeing-corrected vision for near and far sight, color vision, and depth perception.

Work/Environmental: Exposure to blood borne pathogens, airborne and contact diseases, bio-hazardous waste, and chemicals. Personal/Physiological: Works and interacts with people, makes judgments in emergency situations, different duties with frequent changes in volume, and internal and external communications.
