Catalytic Solutions—where clinicians thrive, partners trust us, and healthcare staffing gets smarter.**Exciting Opportunity for Clinical Therapist II!** **Job Description:** - Lead transformative clinical and therapeutic services for youth and their families. - Conduct Joint Care Reviews and Strength and Needs assessments while adhering to all standards. - Utilize integrated assessment approaches to create individualized and holistic treatment plans. - Implement trauma-informed evidence-based practices to empower youth in changing harmful patterns of behavior related to substance use. - Facilitate engaging psycho-educational groups focused on age-appropriate pro-social learning, problem-solving, life-skills development, and coping strategies. - Perform relevant social assessments to inform treatment strategies. - Provide individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of residents. - Act as a primary liaison to school therapists to coordinate comprehensive clinical care. - Collaborate closely with Residential Counselors/Technicians to craft effective treatment goals and strategies. - Develop and write treatment plans alongside the Clinical Supervisor, ensuring compliance with licensing standards. - Document Joint Care Reviews and strength and needs assessments accurately and timely. - Maintain up-to-date record-keeping for all client interactions and collateral contacts. - Work cooperatively with the residential psychiatrist to manage medication protocols, obtaining informed consent and ensuring all documentation is complete. - Organize family contacts and furloughs, keeping comprehensive records in communication/books. - Attend regular staff meetings to discuss resident treatment and contribute to staff training on service delivery. - Engage in weekly clinical supervision to enhance your professional skills. - Draft thoughtful discharge summaries, letters, contracts, and other necessary clinical documentation. - Create comprehensive aftercare recommendations for residents. - Build strong professional relationships with all hospital staff and programs, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of referral and support services. - Maintain regular communication with sending districts, Child Study Teams, private therapists, and agencies such as DCPP and CMO. - Carry a pager for on-call support in clinical guidance when necessary. - Assist in the formulation and evaluation of clinical policies and procedures. - Participate in interviewing and onboarding new staff members. - Supervise social work and counseling interns while providing performance evaluations when applicable. - Contribute to the development and evaluation of quality assurance and performance improvement programs. - Attend committee meetings and execute administrative tasks, including performance improvement and clinical audits. - Provide training and support for EMYL Direct Care Team Members as needed. - Under the guidance of the Clinical Manager, create family training and support groups tailored to residents' families. - Collaborate with other mental health professionals during emergencies and support as a co-therapist when required. - Present your expertise at professional meetings locally and nationally, and prepare materials for publication in professional journals if interested. - Model the 5 C standards of behavior within all interactions. - Adhere to the Organizational Ethics and Codes of Conduct Policy in all professional duties. - Perform related duties as assigned, ensuring high standards of service to patients and staff, both in person and over the phone. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
