We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Medical Assistant to join a busy Multi-Specialty outpatient practice in Hillsborough, NJ. This is an excellent temp-to-permanent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced clinical environment and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for provider examinations.
Obtain and document patient vital signs. Perform patient chart preparation prior to appointments. Assist physicians and clinical staff during patient visits.
Perform Point-of-Care Testing (POCT), including: Urinalysis Rapid Flu Testing Rapid Strep Testing Blood Glucose Testing Other waived laboratory testing Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Maintain exam rooms and ensure proper stocking of clinical supplies. Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines.
Deliver excellent patient service while maintaining confidentiality. Required Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent Medical Assistant experience. Previous experience in an outpatient physician office or multi-specialty clinic.
Experience taking vital signs and rooming patients. Experience performing POCT. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work either required day schedule.
Epic EMR experience (Highly Preferred) Experience working in a multi-specialty practice. Interview Process Virtual interview via Microsoft Teams (camera on required).
