The selected technologist will provide diagnostic imaging services in a 78-bed hospital and support multiple clinical departments and specialty practices.
Candidates must be confident performing X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, OR, and orthopedic imaging procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and CT equipment. Perform fluoroscopy procedures and provide imaging support in the operating room (OR).
Support orthopedic imaging and other specialized diagnostic imaging needs. Provide imaging services for oncology, neurosurgery, and multiple outpatient clinics, including family practice, internal medicine, urology, women's health, and pediatrics. Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols and radiation safety practices.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout imaging procedures. Work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and quality patient care.
Required Qualifications ARRT(R) certification required. ARRT(CT) certification required. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Demonstrated ability to perform X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, OR, and orthopedic imaging procedures. Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of image quality and patient safety. Mandatory Flu Vaccination Current flu vaccination is mandatory for this assignment.
The vaccine must be from the current flu season. Required during the facility's stated flu season: October 1 through April 1. No declinations are accepted.
