5x8-hour shifts
Days Hours: 40 hours/week Openings: 1 Department: Cardiac Cath Lab Call: Not specified in the requisition 🫀 Your Role As a CV Invasive Specialist, you’ll provide technical and clinical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures while working closely with physicians, RNs, and the multidisciplinary Cath Lab team. Key responsibilities include: Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular and cardiac catheterization procedures .
Assist physicians with radiological imaging during cardiac and vascular procedures. Serve as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions. Operate imaging equipment and work in the control room to monitor and document procedure images and events.
Provide patient care under the supervision of an RN. Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and pre- and post-procedure care. Maintain appropriate inventory and stock levels for diagnostic and complex interventional procedures.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the Cath Lab. Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards. Accurately document productivity and procedural information.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives . Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate action to protect patients and staff. Support process-improvement efforts designed to enhance efficiency and patient experience. ✅ Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current BLS – American Heart Association certification. Current ACLS – American Heart Association certification. Fluoroscopy Certification .
Appropriate qualifying credential, including one of the following: Registered ARRT RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV-specific certification RCES Radiation badge must be supplied by the vendor. Experience/knowledge in a Cardiovascular Lab/Cath Lab environment. ⭐
2+ years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience preferred. Associate's degree preferred. 🌟 Why Consider This Assignment?
