Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a CVICU Registered Nurse in Knoxville, TN. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing critical care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). Key
Provide direct patient care in the CVICU, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Float required: Yes, 2 weekends per month or every other weekend.
Current RN license in the state of Tennessee. Certifications required: ACLS-AHA, BLS, and NIHSS. Experience in CVICU preferred; 1:1 patient ratio in CVICU and 1:2-3 in ICU.
Please note that travelers requesting time off (RTO) during any holiday or holiday week will not be accommodated. This policy applies to various holidays throughout the year. Travelers may address any holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite for their assignment by using the RTO form.
