19:00-07:00, 12 Hours Start Date: 12/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Number of Openings: 1 Join a dedicated team as an RN in the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) and Stepdown Unit (CSU) at a leading acute-care hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL. Our facility is committed to providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care.
We prioritize a patient-centered approach, ensuring that every patient's experience is pleasant and comfortable within a safe and secure environment. As an RN in the CSICU, you will be part of a four-bed unit focused on postoperative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring. The CSU is an eight-bed stepdown unit dedicated to the care and recovery of patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.

Associate degree in nursing
2 years of recent CVICU experience is required; must have 2 years of experience in the field of specialty Certifications and Licenses: Required
AHA BLS, AHA NIH, OR RED CROSS Certifications Preferred Certification: AHA PALS (if working in pediatric unit) Licenses: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted) Additional details: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals Holidays as required; every other weekend EMR for your facility: Meditech Scrub Colors/Dress Code: Solid Navy Parking: Available GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
