Requirements 2+ years of recent experience in a CVICU or ICU setting managing cardiac surgical patients Active Kansas (KS) State License or Compact/Multi-State License Active
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS Floating flexibility to aligned critical care units as needed by the facility Day 1 essential competencies in post-op open heart care, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive drip titration
Procedural experience managing specialized cardiac devices including IABP, Impella, or CRRT Technical background in high-volume post-CABG, valve replacement, and complex thoracic surgical care Previous travel nursing contract experience in a high-acuity critical care unit
