Operating Room Open Heart position providing perioperative care for cardiovascular surgical cases in an acute care setting. The role includes day shifts, call participation, every-other-weekend rotation, and support for cases such as coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement, and thoracotomy. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; registered nurse licensure required for submission.
Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, with call requirements and every-other-weekend rotation. Additional Information: Provides perioperative nursing support for cardiovascular surgical cases, including coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement, and thoracotomy. Scrubbing is not required but is preferred.
Orientation to the operating room floor is provided until the clinician is comfortable.
