$2,470–$2,600 Start Date: November 2, 2026 Assignment End Date: February 1, 2027 Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
12-hour day shifts; weekends as scheduled Care Setting: Acute care Charting System: Allscripts CVOR Registered Nurse Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia At least 1 year of recent CVOR or cardiovascular operating room nursing experience Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, surgical safety practices, and cardiovascular procedures Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and weekends as scheduled Excellent communication, teamwork, organization, and clinical judgment CVOR Nursing Responsibilities Provide safe, attentive nursing care throughout cardiovascular surgical procedures Prepare the operating room, equipment, supplies, and patient for scheduled cardiovascular procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative team Maintain a sterile environment and follow surgical safety, infection prevention, and quality standards Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during the perioperative period Complete accurate clinical documentation in Allscripts and communicate essential patient information during handoffs Assist with efficient operating room turnover and maintain readiness for cardiovascular cases Support positive patient outcomes through compassionate, evidence-based perioperative nursing practice Apply now for this CVOR Registered Nurse travel contract in Wheeling, West Virginia, and bring your cardiovascular operating room expertise to a dedicated acute-care team.
