Shift Information 0530-0630 flex start times, 5x8hr shifts M-F On Call, Call Back Requirements Rotating extended shift, night, weekend, holiday call based on current staffing. Currently works out to about 2 overnight and 1 weekend of call per month. Weekend Rotation Call only Holiday Requirements Call only Floating Requirements No floating, only assisting with procedures in other departments where cardiac surgeons are involved (Cath Lab, Main OR, etc.) Patient Types: Cardio and Thoracic surgeries – CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Heart transplants, Fem-pop bypass
