Nights, 4x12hrs Hours: 48 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 8 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric CVICU RN for an 8-week holiday program assignment requiring 2 years of CVPICU/PICU experience and an active OH or Compact RN license. Details Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) unit within a children's hospital setting Night shift, 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00-7:30 8-week contract length with no RTO permitted Scheduled to work every other weekend, subject to change based on unit needs Required to float to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed Unit will request a makeup shift within the same pay period for any call out or absence Requirements Active RN license (OH or Compact) in hand Current
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience required Minimum 2 years of pediatric hospital experience required 2 supervisory references required at time of consideration, with at least one manager/supervisor titled reference Skills needed include respiratory care (ventilator management, ETT/NT suctioning, tracheostomy care, ABG interpretation), IV therapy/phlebotomy, and cardiovascular care (dysrhythmia management, hemodynamic monitoring, post cardiac surgery care) Preferred skills include ECMO, congenital heart disease/repair care, post cardiac catheterization care, VAD management, and CRRT Additional Information Care for pediatric patients in a cardiovascular intensive care setting, including those with congenital heart disease and post-cardiac surgery needs Floating to other units is a requirement and a point of emphasis for this facility Candidates must not have worked in a permanent position for this health system within the past 2 years Local candidates are not permitted; a 60-mile radius restriction applies
