An Early Intervention Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania provides community- and home-based therapy for infants and toddlers (birth to age three) with developmental delays. Key responsibilities include evaluating motor skills, creating family-centered treatment plans, and traveling to daycares, classrooms, no home visits. Responsibilities Schedule / Shift Shift Details: varies Hours per Week: full or part time Contract Length: School Year Key Duties Core Duties and Responsibilities Child Evaluation: Assess infant and toddler physical development, movement patterns, and motor delays.
Plan Execution: Build and implement individualized, play-based care plans that fit into daily family routines. Family Coaching: Teach parents and caregivers exercises and strategies to support the child's physical growth. Teamwork: Work alongside speech therapists, occupational therapists, and service coordinators.
Record Keeping: Complete progress notes and compliance documents per state guidelines. Requirements Education Required: Master's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Licenses & Certifications Required: Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License (or eligibility through the Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy).
Current Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance. Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check. FBI Federal Criminal History Fingerprint Clearance.
