Evenings, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echocardiographic Technologist for an evening shift role requiring RDCS certification and BLS. Details Echocardiology department within an acute care hospital setting Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Performs echocardiography on treadmill patients to assess heart function as part of stress testing Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred RDCS certification from ARDMS or CCI required, or eligibility to obtain ECG certification preferred BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty required, with recent experience within the last 3 months Cerner and/or Epic experience must be documented if applicable License required if applicable Additional Information Performs technical aspects of cardiac ultrasound exams including imaging of heart muscle, chambers, valves, and vessels Sets up ultrasound equipment, attaches electrodes, applies gel, positions patients, and records cardiac data and images Interviews patients and reviews medical records to adapt sonographic techniques Collaborates closely with cardiologists to evaluate findings and report results Maintains equipment, restocks supplies, manages patient schedules, and enters patient information into relevant systems Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to organizational policies Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
