Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a Clinical Decision Unit. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, primarily with patients experiencing a range of medical conditions. Job Details
3x12-hour or 4x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours: 36 hours per week Weekends: Every other weekend required Floating: May be required to float to other units as necessary Orientation: Held every other Monday Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a clinical decision unit. Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias. Administer treatments and therapies including IV starts, blood products, and oxygen therapy.
Manage care for patients with various conditions, including cardiac issues, CHF, COPD, stroke, chest pain, and postoperative needs. Respond effectively to rapid response and code situations. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
Current RN license in West Virginia or a compact state; pending licenses accepted for submission. Required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Experience in cardiac telemetry and stroke/CVA care is essential. Notes Travelers are encouraged to apply, including first-time travelers.
