Job Details:
Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); 1 year minimum clinical experience; located in or willing to commute to Guttenberg, Iowa. Specialty: Emergency Room
0 years minimum experience required. Patient Ratio: Maximum of 1:5, typically 1:3. Orientation: 2-4 days of orientation.
Patient Modality: Acute, Skilled, Hospice. Special Equipment: ICU medical intravenous pumps, Nihon Kohden bedside monitors, Novastat glucometer, Airvo, Bipap unit. Specific Procedures and Protocols: Drips and infusions, IV starts, EKGs, oxygen initiation and weaning, bipap, standard nursing skills including sepsis, stroke, MI, and trauma management.
