✓You’ll need
Licensure
✓Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
Certifications
✓Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC
✓CEN certification
✓Advanced emergency nursing skills or certifications
Education
RN degree from an accredited program preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
✓Experience with Meditech or similar documentation systems
✓Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical assessment skills
✓Ability to perform procedures such as intubations and behavioral health management
Prior experience in fast-paced ED settings, preferably with a focus on trauma, stroke, or cardiac care preferred
Willingness to float as needed within the facility preferred
Flexibility for 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7:30 AM) preferred
Compliance with dress code, including navy scrubs and professional appearance standards preferred
Capacity to meet physical demands of the ER environment, including standing for extended periods and performing emergency procedures preferred
