📍 Utica, NY | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week | 🌆 12-Hour Evening Shift (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a high-volume Emergency Department providing care to patients of all ages. Candidates must have prior travel experience, pediatric emergency experience, and strong critical care skills.
Provide emergency care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Perform rapid assessments, triage, stabilization, and emergency interventions Manage high-acuity conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and critical care drips Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary emergency care team Float to appropriate units as needed
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience Previous travel nursing experience required Charge nurse experience highly preferred Active New York RN License Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications Experience with EPIC EMR Assignment Details: 13-week assignment 36 hours per week Evening
10:30 AM – 11:00 PM Floating required Block scheduling is not guaranteed 64-bed Emergency Department serving newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Experience managing vasoactive drips, antiarrhythmics, sedation infusions, anticoagulants, thrombolytics, and insulin infusions preferred Local and travel candidates accepted (75-mile radius policy)
