Job Requirements / Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license: New Jersey or compact state accepted Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Room / ER nursing experience BLS (Basic Life Support) required ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills typical of emergency nurses Responsibilities Provide compassionate, efficient emergency care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in collaboration with the ER team and physicians Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered and per protocol Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and escalate care as needed Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner Participate in rapid response, code blue situations, and other emergency procedures when required This opportunity is ideal for ER travel nurses and registered nurses seeking short-term assignments and New Jersey nursing jobs.
