BLS, ACLS, and PALS through AHA required prior to start NRP and TNCC certifications required ENPC certification required upon course qualification Emergency department nursing experience required Additional Information Provide direct nursing care including assessment, care planning, and intervention for emergency patients Monitor for early warning signs of patient deterioration and respond appropriately, including emergency measures as needed Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and complete required documentation and incident reports Begin discharge planning early and provide patient/family education to support safe discharge Delegate nursing interventions appropriately within scope of practice and competence
