Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as an Acute Travel RN!
- Location: Memorial Hospital of Martinsville – Sovah Health, Martinsville, VA
- Unit: Emergency Department
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
7P-7A - Weekend Hours: As Needed/Every Other - Call
As Needed Key
- Provide high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
- Manage a diverse patient population, treating conditions such as chest pain, CHF, COPD, and psychiatric emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with a compassionate and professional team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with emergency cases, conducting assessments and implementing care plans.
- Ensure compliance with required certifications and protocols.

Minimum of 2 years in an emergency acute hospital setting, with at least one travel assignment completed. - Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI/Handle with Care
- NIH (National Institutes of Health)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
Current RN licensure and certifications required to practice in Virginia. - Personality Traits: Professional, positive, compassionate, and able to function effectively in a team environment. Unit Information:
