Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Pay Rate: $100-125/hour (all-inclusive) Call: No call EMR: EPIC (Kaiser Permanente Health Connect) Position Overview Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient clinical care at its San Marcos Medical Center, with occasional coverage at the Bonita location. The provider will manage a diverse endocrinology patient population, primarily focused on diabetes management, osteoporosis, and transgender care.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified provider to join an established healthcare team and deliver both in-person and telehealth services. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including acute diabetic conditions. Provide care for patients with osteoporosis and other endocrinology-related conditions.
Support transgender patients requiring endocrinology care. Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up appointments. Deliver care through both in-person visits and telehealth consultations.
Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC (Health Connect). Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Requirements & Qualifications Active California NP or PA license required.
Board certification required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification. Experience in endocrinology and diabetes management preferred.
Experience treating both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes strongly preferred. Diabetic Educator Certification is a plus. Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth care.
