Provide safe, high-quality nursing care throughout the endoscopy patient experience, including pre-procedure assessment, procedural support, and post-procedure recovery
Administer and monitor medications and moderate sedation in accordance with established protocols
Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition during and after procedures
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and positive outcomes
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, discharge instructions, medications, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate documentation utilizing EPIC electronic medical recordsRequirementsActive RN License (Maryland or Compact)BLS Certification (Required)ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of employmentPrevious RN experience requiredExperience in Endoscopy, PACU, Same Day Surgery, GI Lab, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, or procedural settings preferredStrong assessment, patient education, and communication skillsWhy This Opportunity
