Endoscopy Technician Lead

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. The Lead Endoscopy Technician serves as the senior technician within the endoscopy suite and is responsible for supporting gastrointestinal procedures, ensuring high-level disinfection and maintenance of endoscopic equipment, and coordinating the daily operations of the endoscopy unit. This role includes technical assistance during procedures, mentoring and training staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Supports and helps achieve departmental goals. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM

High School Graduate or equivalentPREFERRED

Completion of an accredited Endoscopy Technician or Surgical Technologist programMINIMUM

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Endoscopy TechnicianPREFERRED

Prior leadership or team lead experienceREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certification as a Gastroenterology Tech (e.g., SGNA GTS or CBSPD/IAHCSMM)REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) on hire. #LI-RR1
